As a wise man once said, "Um, pie. I've got nothing." That pretty much reflects my state of mind about half the time.
This here random page is supposed to house more of the informative stuff of the site over anything else...sometimes, people like to know the tools one uses, or the style utilized...or credits, for that matter. X3
Without further ado...information, legal, and more.

The site(s) here are run by a fourteen-year-old hyperactive fox youkai ninja, Katana. She loves anime, music, writing, drawing, friends, and her beloved oboe.

randomthunk.net is hosted by the ever-huggable Host Ultra. If you're interested in a domain and actual hosted site, but don't to spend a lot of money, Katana suggests checking out their "mini" plans for el-cheapness.

There are three sites here on the network - RT portal page, Numbnuts Unite (a fansite to the anime series Azumanga Daioh), and an on-and-off music rotation site, Nocturne Mix.

At the top of every page is the header. This one features Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, and Winry Rockbell (with their childhood selves) from the manga version of Fullmetal Alchemist. The piece comes from the second artbook, chapter 3. This and many more spectacular pictures can be found at The DB Archives.

Brushes used in the top pic come from the ever-spectacular Photoshop site, The Magic Box. Not only does the site have cool brushes, but also various tutorials and textures for use. The banner at top utilized only one brush - the fading circle one from the set Brushy 08. How does the image look like that? Multiple layers, patterns, and overlays. :3

Various tools are used to create what you see here on randomthunk.net. Katana's primary tool is the ever-trusty, never-gets-old program of Photoshop. Her version is of Photoshop 7, the last one to come out before CS. In the end, it's all the same, except for maybe the nitpickers. If you're on a budget but really want PS, check out Photoshop Elements.

Drawings by Kat are made with a mechanical pencil and drawn in a sketchbook, plain and simple. Of course, there are times when a notebook is all you have, and that's fun too.

The name of "randomthunk" comes from Katana's bestin Freundin, Aiyanna who first suggested "randomthunked", which made absolutely no sense...Drop the -ed and you've got yourself a domain name of strange proportions. Aiyanna also supplies Katana with a lot of drawings to CG, which you can see in the, guess what, CG section.
